Un estudio exploratorio sobre el impacto de las tradiciones administrativas en valores y conflictos de valores de los profesionales académicos holandeses y españoles.

Se ha comprobado que los valores de los trabajadores del sector público y los conflictos de valores que afrontan dependen de las características organizacionales. Pese a ello, apenas se ha estudiado la influencia que la tradición administrativa tiene en los valores y los conflictos de valores en el ámbito profesional. Mientras que algunos sugieren que la tradición administrativa es la clave, otros sostienen que las características profesionales son las que determinan qué valores son importantes y qué conflictos de valores tienen lugar. En este estudio explorativo se comparan las percepciones de profesores procedentes de una universidad holandesa y de otra española. De este modo, se analiza en qué medida los valores y los conflictos derivados de estos cambian entre profesionales que trabajan en el mismo sector, pero que pertenecen a países con diferentes tradiciones. El análisis de los datos metodológicos de Q y de las entrevistas (N = 63) revela similitudes y diferencias entre países, y sugiere que lo que determina qué valores son prioritarios y qué conflictos surgen es el resultado de una combinación de las características profesionales y de la propia tradición administrativa.Descargas
